A warm, collaborative space to feel heard, understood, and accepted.

Leslie holds a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Service Worker diploma and is currently completing her Master of Social Work clinical practicum at Dragonfly Counselling & Wellness. She brings a thoughtful, client-centred approach grounded in connection, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experiences, values, culture, and goals.

Leslie also has experience supporting neurodivergent and Autistic children, youth, and their families as they navigate services, systems, and community resources. Having navigated these systems herself and supported others through them, she brings a deeper understanding of how overwhelming it can feel to find the right support.

In My Words

Wondering What Therapy with Me Is Like?

I believe clients are the experts in their own lives. My role is to listen with curiosity, understand your experiences, and work alongside you toward the changes that matter most to you. We can move at a pace that feels right for you, with room to bring your whole self into the conversation.

“

I believe that meaningful support begins with connection, trust, and creating a space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.

How I Work

Support That Starts with Your Strengths

Leslie’s approach is collaborative, relational, and strengths-based. She recognizes that each person brings their own experiences, needs, and goals into therapy.

Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These approaches are used in a way that responds to the person in front of her, rather than following a one-size-fits-all path.

For individuals and families facing unfamiliar or overwhelming systems, Leslie can also help identify resources, understand options, and build confidence in advocacy.
