In My Words

Wondering What Therapy with Me Is Like?

For me, it's about listening deeply, following the path of where your life is going, and helping you figure out the best way to get there. That means we move at your pace, toward what matters to you. Some sessions are about untangling something specific. Others are about getting clearer on where you actually want to be headed.

It's going to get heavy. It's going to get deep. But it doesn't have to always be deep and heavy.

Training & Approaches

A Lifetime of Listening,
Now Brought Into the Therapy Room

I came to this work after nearly thirty years in people-centred, leadership and support roles, including three years facilitating trauma-informed personal development and building youth programming for First Nations communities in Western Canada.

That's a long time spent noticing what people mean underneath what they say. It's the part of this work I'm best at, and it's what I bring to every session.

I support couples with communication, recurring conflict, relationship transitions and strengthening connection. I also offer structured premarital and relationship check-ins using Prepare/Enrich.

Who You’d Be Sitting With

A Little More About Me

Outside of counselling I’m usually at a ball diamond, watching or coaching. I run, I cook and bake, and I’ll take a good novel and a day at the beach whenever I can get one.

“Most of my favourite time is family time: travelling together, or losing at pickleball to my daughter.”

An Invitation from Brandon

You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out

When it comes to healing, nobody arrives finished, and you don't need to have any of it sorted out before you sit down.

Reaching out is hard, and I remember what it's like. If you're nervous about a first session, that's not a reason to wait. It's just something we can name together at the start.

Come as you are, and we'll work out where you're headed from there.
